Summary of BDA Strategies
- Before: preparing students to read/learn
- During: helping students construct, process, and question ideas as they read/learn
- After: guiding students to reflect on integration, and share ideas after they're finished the reading and initial learning
- +R is Refection:
- students review and consider their experiences and the content from reading/learning following BDA-type experiences
- can be a reflection of the content weeks or months after the initial learning experience

These strategies were my students' favorite strategies. The Power Point presentations have BDA strategies for you to read and modify for your students. These strategies are supported by research and have been used for many years in academia.
